Daily COVID Cases Shoot Up Above 200 In Odisha, TPR 1.73%

Bhubaneswar: Odisha recorded above 200 COVID cases on Friday with 226 infections registered in the last 24 hours against 187 cases on Thursday. The active tally in the state continued to remain below the 2,000 mark at 1,797.

According to the I & PR department, 132 new cases are from quarantine and 94 local contacts. Among them, 19 are in the age group of 0-18 years.

17. Nayagarh: 3
18. Nuapada: 4
19. Puri: 7
20. Rayagada: 2
21. Sambalpur: 7
22. Sonepur: 2
23. Sundargarh: 19

Besides, 23  are from the state pool.

With these cases being detected from 13,026 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 1.73 per cent.
