Daily COVID Positivity Rate Drops Below 5% In Odisha; Check District-Wise Cases Here

Bhubaneswar: The test positivity rate (TPR) in Odisha dropped below 5 per cent on Monday with 3,031 of 61,000 samples testing positive for COVID.

The state, which had been witnessing a consistent drop in new cases, saw a TPR of 4.9 per cent against 5.38 per cent the previous day.

According to the I & PR department, 1,738 of the fresh infections are from quarantine and 1,293 local contacts.

Khurda topped the chart with 381 new infections, followed by Cuttack (295), Balasore (290) and Jajpur (226).

With this, Odisha now has 36,633 active cases with four districts in the Red Zone. At present, 17 districts have a TPR of less than 5 per cent.
