Bhubaneswar: Alliance Air, a wholly owned subsidiary of Air India, is all set to commence daily direct flight operations from Bhubaneswar to Varanasi and back from January 31.
This is an RCS route under the UDAN scheme and the airline has deployed its 70 seater ATR 72 600 aircraft on this sector, official sources said.
TIMINGS
Flight 9I 747 departs from Bhubaneswar at 12.15pm and arrives in Varanasi at 14.05pm.
Flight 9I 748 departs from Varanasi at 14.30pm and arrives in Bhubaneswar at 16.20pm.
FARE
All inclusive one-way fare start at Rs 3470.
The daily flight will cater to tourists, students, business community and traders and reduce the travel time between the two destinations, making it convenient for passengers.
