Dama Rout Appointed Convener Of Odisha BJP Campaign Committee

Bhubaneswar: A week after joining the BJP, veteran leader Damodar Rout was appointed as the convener of the campaign committee of the Odisha BJP unit on Wednesday.

The appointment was based on the recommendation of the state BJP president Basanta Panda.,

The saffron party decided to assign the responsibility to Dama, who has over 40 years of experience in state politics, to frame its poll campaign strategy for the four-phase Assembly and Lok  Sabha elections scheduled to begin from April 11, sources said.
