Bhubaneswar: Daringbadi remained the coldest place in Odisha on Friday night with the minimum temperature falling to 8 degrees Celsius at the hill station, registering a drop of 1.5 degrees from Friday’s 9.5 degrees.
Phulbani recorded a night temperature of 10.5 degrees Celsius.
In Bhubaneswar, the minimum temperature was 14 degrees Celsius while in Cuttack it settled at 13.8 degrees Celsius.
Other places that recorded night temperatures below 15 degrees Celsius are Baripada (13.5), Balasore (14.1), Jharsuguda (13.6), Hirakud (14.1), Keonjhar (13), Chandbali (13), Talcher (14), Sonepur (13.6), Angul (14.2), Titlagarh (13.8), Bhawanipatna (14.9) and Koraput (13.5).
Dense fog prevailed in various parts of the state, with visibility reduced to less than 200 metres in Koraput. There was no rainfall reported from any part of the state.
