Bhubaneswar: All DAV institutions in Odisha zone have been told to ask students and their parents to sign on documents approving the Centre’s decision to scrap Article 370.
The directive came in a letter written by the DAV managing committee in New Delhi. The letter, copies of which were circulated to the students, has also asked them sign documents that read terrorism will take a nosedive and employment opportunities will grow aplenty in Jammu and Kashmir with the abrogation of Article 370.
On their part, the students and parents have criticised the missive and questioned its intent. They said with Kashmir currently under siege and reeling under a complete information blackout, they failed to understand why the DAV authorities were trying to arrange commendable letters from the students and their parents.
The DAV zonal management authorities here could not be contacted for comments.
