Mumbai: Anees Ibrahim, the brother of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, has denied reports that the gangster and his wife had tested positive for COVID-19.
The denial followed recent reports by intelligence agencies that Dawood’s personal staff and guards in Karachi were placed under quarantine after the fugitive don and his wife contracted the infection.
Anees, who controls the D-Company’s underworld operations and finance, said the reports were mere rumours and Dawood and his entire family were safe, news agency IANS reported.
