Karachi: Underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and his wife Mehajabin have reportedly tested positive for novel coronavirus in Karachi on Friday.
According to a CNN News 18 report, the couple has been admitted to the Army hospital in Karachi while his personal staff and guards asked to go into quarantine.
Dawood is wanted in India for his involvement in the 1993 Bombay bomb blasts and carries a reward of $25 million on his head.
Originally from Mumbai’s Dongri, Dawood reportedly fled to Pakistan in the mid-90s and has since been living in Karachi.
Coronavirus cases in Pakistan have crossed 89,000. Over 1,800 people have lost their lives.
