Bhubaneswar: Soon after Odisha Assembly Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro on Sunday said a decision on day curfew due to COVID-19 is likely to be taken in 4-5 days, the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) said there is no such plan at this stage.
In a tweet, the SRC said, “In response to media queries it is stated that the COVID-19 situation in the state is very much under control. Govt is closely monitoring the situation. At this stage, there is no plan for imposing day curfew in the state. We appeal everyone to follow the COVID protocols- mask use, physical distancing & hand hygiene.”
Earlier in the day, the Speaker had said the Chief Minister is reviewing the COVID-19 situation at present and a decision on day curfew is likely to be taken in 4-5 days.
