Day Temp In Odisha To Rise After 24 Hours; Thunder, Gusty Wind May Continue To Lash 4 Dists For 2 Days

Bhubaneswar: Some places in Odisha may continue to experience stormy weather conditions for two more days as a trough from a cyclonic circulation over south Jharkhand and adjoining north Chhattisgarh persists across interior parts

of the state.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow warning of thunderstorm accompanied by lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching up to 30-40 kmph for isolated places in the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore and Bhadrak till 8.30 am on March 10. Light to moderate rain may also occur at one or two places in the districts during this period.

The weather agency further stated that the day temperature across the state may also gradually rise by 2-3 degrees after 24 hours. The mercury may touch 40 in Sambalpur, Titlagarh, Jharsuguda and Sundargarh by March 13, it added.
