Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday informed that the day temperature is likely to remain 3 to 4 degree Celsius above normal at a few places in Odisha during the next 5 days.
On Thursday, the mercury hovered around 37 degree Celsius and more at nine places in the state while Boudh, Nayagarh and Talcher recorded the highest of 38 degree Celsius each. Bhubaneswar and Cuttack recorded 37 degree Celsius and 36 degree Celsius respectively.
The MeT office has issued yellow warning for dense fog at some places in 11 districts of the state till 8.30 am on February 26. Thick blanket of fog had engulfed Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Kendrapada and Dhenkanal, reducing visibility to 50 metres in the last 24 hours.
