Day Temp To Rise Again By 2-4°C In Odisha, Isolated Rain Likely Till April 13

Bhubaneswar: The day temperature is again expected to gradually rise by 2-4°C during the next 3 days with north-westerly winds are prevailing over Odisha, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Tuesday.

Nor’wester-induced rain, thundershower and lightning had brought the mercury levels down by several notches with many places, including Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, recording below normal temperature in the last couple of days.

While there are no more weather warning for the state, the weather agency has forecast light to moderate rain/thundershowers at a few places in Nuapada, Bargarh, Balangir, Sonepur, Boudh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi and at one or two places in South Odisha, Jagatsinghpur, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, and Deogarh districts till 8.30 am on Wednesday.

Light rain may occur at one or two places in Ganjam, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nuapada, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur during the subsequent 24 hours. On April 11, Light rain is likely at one or two places in Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Balangir, Sonepur, Nuapada, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, and Rayagada.

Light rain may continue at one or two places in Koraput, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, and Kalahandi on April 12 and Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Balangir, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur on April 13. Dry weather will prevail thereafter.
