Bhubaneswar: Day temperature in interior Odisha is likely to fall gradually from Friday, according to the Centre for Environment and Climate (CEC), SOA Deemed to be University.
One or two places in interior Odisha may record temperature of more than 40 degrees Celsius between Friday and Sunday, but the temperature will come down to 35 to 37 degree after Monday, a CEC bulletin said.
Coastal Odisha is likely to record temperature of 35 degree upto June 7. At the same time, ‘Kalbaisakhi’ activity is expected in one or two locations in the districts of Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Jajpur , Bhadrak, Kandhamal, Rayagada and Koraput upto Saturday.
Besides, thunderstorm with rain is likely at many places over Odisha between May 31 and June 5.
