Dead Fish Wash Ashore At Managala River Mouth in Puri

Puri: Hundreds of fishes found were found lying dead near Puri sea beach at Mangala river mouth raising concern over the quality of water.

According to reports, the city’s wastewater is released into the river without proper treatment thus harming the aquatic life.

Though is not new, the Fisheries Department and Puri Municipality continue to close their eyes to water pollution.
