Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Thursday extended the deadline for submission of property list by all government employees to August 31.
The earlier deadline was June 30.
The General Administration and Public Grievance Department said the deadline was extended due to the inability of some government employees to submit their property list.
The department informed this in a letter to all secretaries, heads of departments, revenue divisional commissioners and district collectors.
According to the Odisha Government Servants Conduct Rules, 1959, all government employees are required to make a complete declaration of their assets, movable and immovable property and the value thereof as of December 31 every year on or before March 31 of the succeeding year.
