Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Thursday extended the deadline for submission of property list by all government employees to August 31.
The earlier deadline was June 30.
The General Administratio
n and Public Grievance Department said the deadline was extended due to the inability of some government employees to submit their property list.
The department informed this in a letter to all secretaries, heads of departments, revenue divisional commissioners and district collectors.
According to the Odisha Government Servants Conduct Rules, 1959, all government employees are required to make a complete declaration of their assets, movable and immovable property and the value thereof as of December 31 every year on or before March 31 of the succeeding year.
