New Delhi: The last date for submission of the entries for the video blogging contest ‘My Life, My Yoga’ recently announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been extended till June 21.
Ministry of AYUSH in association with Indian Council of Cultural Relations (ICCR) is organising the global yoga contest on the digital platform to commemorate the occasion of sixth International Day of Yoga.
Earlier, the last date for submission for the entries was slated for June 15.
With a growing demand for the extension of date from the yoga fraternity within India and abroad, the ministry and ICCR decided to extend the deadline six more days. International Day of Yoga (IDY) is celebrated on June 21.
The Prime Minister in his Mann Ki Baat address to the nation on May 31 had called upon one and all to participate in the ‘My Life, My Yoga’ video blogging contest. The contest focuses on the transformative impact of Yoga on individuals’ lives and came up as one of the activities related to the observation of the sixth IDY.
