Death Toll In Cyclone Fani Goes Up To 43

Bhubaneswar: The death toll in cyclone Feni has risen to 43, said a latest bulletin issued by the state government.

Casualties:

Puri 21
Kendrapada 03
Mayurbhanj 04
Jajpur 04
Cuttack 06
Khordha 05
Total 43

People who stand affected by the cyclone as of now stands at 1,65,30,900.

As per the bulletin, the cyclone has left its imprints in 14 districts.

They are:
Angul, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Keonjhar, Khordha, Mayurbhanj, Nayagarh and Puri.

159 blocks affected
52 urban local bodies
18,168 villages
5,08,476 houses

Affected livestock stands at 87,39,657 and casualties have gone up to 34 lakh.
