Debasis Panda Tops Odisha Civil Services Exam

Bhubaneswar: Debasis Panda has topped the Odisha Civil Services Examination, 2018, the results of which were declared on Monday.

He is a native of Jakaikala village under Bonai sub division in Sundargarh district. He did his MSc in Agronomy. Both his parents are schoolteachers.

Rituparna Mohapatra and Akash Kumar Panda have secured the second and third positions respectively.

“On the basis of the Personality Test of Odisha Civil Services Examination, 2018 held from December 12, 2019 to December 28, 2019, the Commission has provisionally selected 218 candidates for appointment to the post/services coming under the Odisha Civil Services (Group A and Group B),” a notification issued by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) said.

Among those elected, 72 are women.
