Bhubaneswar: A youth’s decomposed body found was found floating inside Kuakhai river near Pahala on Bhubaneswar outskirts on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Tophan Samal, a resident of Naharkanta area.
According to sources, Tophan was missing for the last four days. On getting the information, Commissionerate Police arrived at the spot and recovered the body near Jagannath temple in Naharkanta.
The body was sent for an autopsy and a probe was initiated to ascertain the exact cause behind his death.
Meanwhile, Tophan’s family alleged that he has been murdered over previous enmity.
