Bhubaneswar: A minor flood is expected in Subarnarekha and Budhabalanga rivers of Odisha in the next 30 hours, said Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) Pradeep Kumar Jena in a press conference here on Saturday.
“Heavy rain has been predicted in Mayurbhanj and Balasore districts due to the deep depression. Jharkhand has also received heavy rains due to the system,” Jena said.
“The water is likely to reach Odisha in the next 30 hours. Due to this, a minor flood is anticipated in Subarnarekha and Budhabalanga rivers,” he said.
