Kendrapara: Many medical professionals from India settle outside the country for one reason or the other and serve the people there. Some of them don’t forget their roots and come back to India from time to time to serve people in their own country. A case in point is Dr Sahadev Swain of Saliancha village of Kendrapara district, who is settled in London. He come to his village in his vacations and to serve the village people free of cost.
While he is here, Dr Swain also teaches the students in the village Primary School, where he studied. He also organises health camps and meetings on social awareness.
After completing his primary education in the village, Sahadev studied in Khallikote College, MKCG Medical College and Banaras Hindu University and then went to London.
He never forgets to pay his gratitude to the school teachers as he believes that he could come this far only because of their guidance.
