London: Deepika Padukone is among the 10 most beautiful women in the world.

The Bollywood diva features at No. 9 in the annual list, which is compiled by London-based plastic surgeon Dr Julian De Silva through a scientific method which deduces who has the most perfect face in the world.

According to Silva’s list for 2022, English actress Jodie Comer is the most beautiful woman in the world. She displaces fellow-actress Amber Heard, who topped the list the last time around.

Zendaya was second, followed by model Bella Hadid and singer Beyonce.

Deepika and South Korean model-actress Ho Yeon Jung are only Asians among the top 10. The others are either American or British.

Dr De Silva face mapping technique analyses 12 important points and evaluates features like the eyes, nose, lips, chin, jaw and facial shape.

The surgeon uses the ancient Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty, ‘Phi’, to determine the perfect ratio.

Dr De Silva’s Phi analysis has found Comer’s features to be 94.52% accurate. Deepika’s Golden Ratio score is 91.22%.

“Jodie Comer was the clear winner when all elements of the face were measured for physical perfection. She had the highest overall reading for the positioning of her nose and lips, with a score of 98.7%, which is only 1.3% away from being the perfect shape. Jodie also had the highest score for her nose width and length and she was near the top for the shape of her lips and the position of her eyes. The only element she was marked down for was her eyebrows which achieved an average score of 88%,” De Silva was quoted by the media.
