Know Reaction Of NCB Officials When Deepika Padukone Broke Down Thrice During Interrogation

Mumbai: Deepika Padukone reportedly broke down thrice during investigation by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officials, said India Today.

She had appeared for interrogation in connection with a drug case, which emerged during the investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput. The actress arrived at the NCB Office in Colaba before 10 am and left around 3.30 pm.

NCB officials asked her not to play the “emotional card.” The actress confessed that the chats accessed by the agency where she was discussing drugs with her manager Karishma Prakash belong to her but denied consuming any narcotic substance, the India Today report added.

The ‘Padmavat’ actress’s phone has been seized by the NCB. “The phones of Deepika, Karishma, Rakul and Khambatta have been seized by the NCB under the Indian Evidence Act,” Times Of India (TOI) reported quoting IANS.

Deepika returned to Mumbai from Goa with her husband Ranveer Singh on Friday night. She is shooting there for an upcoming film.
