Dhenkanal: Forest officials seized a deer hide and some pangolin scales and arrested four persons for smuggling those in Dhenkanal Forest Range on Wednesday.
The arrested persons have been identified as Balaram Sahu (27) and Sanjay Hota (40) from Karadabani village under Nihal Prasad police limits, Kuna Sahu from Gada Khankira village and Bangali Dehuri from Tolarapasi village, informed Dhenkanal Forest Range Officer Prakash Chand Gogineni.
Acting on tip-off, the officials of the Forest Range reached the spot and nabbed the smugglers. A bike was also seized from their possession.
