New Delhi: Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said he deserves the Nobel Prize for running the government in the national Capital despite continuous conflicts with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo took a swipe at the BJP-led Central government, saying that only he knows how he has been running the Delhi government.

“They (BJP) tried to stop construction of schools and hospitals in Delhi. They do not want the poor to get the same level of education as their children… Only I know how am I running the government in Delhi. I should get a Nobel prize for this,” he said while addressing party workers.

“The BJP and Lt Governor (VK Saxena) have made people of Delhi miserable… and Delhi’s son has worked to make all the citizens happy.. that’s why I should get the Nobel… but you all are my Nobel Prize,” said Kejriwal.

Kejriwal went a step further to claim that Delhi Jal Board has passed a scheme but BJP has asked the Lieutenant Governor to stop this scheme.
