New Delhi: The Patiala House Court in Delhi on Wednesday served a notice to Ollywood actress Varsha Priyadarshini to appear in person on December 10.
Ashwani Dubey, the counsel of Varsha’s husband and actor-MP Anubhav Mohanty, told this to the media.
Dubey said the Delhi court issued the notice on the basis of a divorce petition filed by his client.
“I apprised the court of the factual position of the case that the marriage has not been consummated as for the last seven years and my client has undergone mental harassment and cruelty. The court later issued a notice to Varsha Priyadarshini, directing her to appear in person on December 10,” he said.
Replying to a question on the transfer petition filed by Varsha in the Supreme Court, Dubey said there is no order in this regard by the apex court as the matter has not been listed till date. “After the matter is listed, we will reply to the apex court,” he said.
