Delhi Health Minister In ICU, To Be Given Plasma Therapy

New Delhi: The condition of Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain, who tested positive for COVID-19, deteriorated today. He will be shifted to a private hospital and will be given plasma therapy, doctors said. The minister is experiencing difficulty in breathing and is running high fever. He has also developed pneumonia.

Satyendar Jain was admitted to the Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital (RGSSH) on Tuesday after he developed high fever and his oxygen saturation level dropped.

Atishi, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) legislator and two other leaders of the party have also contracted the disease.

Akshay Marathe, an advisor to CM Arvind Kejriwal, and Abhinandita Mathur, an advisor to deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, also tested positive for the viral disease on Wednesday.
