Alwar/Delhi: A probe into the murder and rape of 22-year-old daughter of an IRS officer in Delhi reveal that the accused was allegedly a serial offender. The 23-year-old, who was arrested, had played Ludo online with the husband of another woman he allegedly raped in Rajasthan’s Alwar just hours before the crime in Delhi, reported Deccan Herald.

pecial team to probe the rape charge against the accused, Rahul Meena (19) in Alwar.

“We have detained over half a dozen people for questioning,” Alwar SP Sudhir Chaudhary told Deccand Herald.

On Wednesday, a woman had lodged a complaint at the Rajgarh police station in Alwar that the accused had raped her on Tuesday night.

The victim’s husband had alleged that he had gone to attend a wedding with the accused on Tuesday evening. While the husband spent the night there, Rahul returned to the village later and allegedly committed the crime.

The 22-year-old daughter of a senior Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer was found murdered at her home in Delhi’s Amar Colony early on Wednesday.

Her parents were out for a walk when the crime was committed, the police said.
