New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was produced before the Rouse Avenue Court on Saturday after his three-day CBI custody ended. The central investigative agency sought judicial remand of the AAP chief in a case related to the liquor policy case, News18 reported.
However, the court heard both parties and reserved its order on the matter on Saturday afternoon. Kejriwal was arrested by the central agency in connection with the liquor policy case on Wednesday.
Earlier, the CBI had sought a five-day remand but was granted three, after claiming that Kejriwal’s custody was necessary to confront him with evidence and documents in the case.
The agency has also alleged that Kejriwal had implicated former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, attributing the idea of privatisation to him, the report added.
