New Delhi: Delhi-NCR was hit by an earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale late on Thursday night.
The epicentre of the earthquake with 5-km depth was near Rajasthan’s Alwar district, according to the Ministry of Earth Sciences’ National Centre for Seismology. It struck at 11.46 pm, according to news agency IANS.
People ventured out of their homes in fear following the tremors. No casualties or property damages have been reported.
