Bhubaneswar: In a major development, a youth has been picked up from Bhubaneswar by a special team of Delhi Police over suspected links with Pakistan and alleged involvement in anti-India activities.
The youth, identified as Imam from Delhi, was apprehended from Unit-6 area under the jurisdiction of Capital Police Station following coordinated efforts between local authorities and central agencies.
As per sources, s
ecurity agencies had been monitoring the activities of the man for some time before tracing his location. Preliminary findings suggest his involvement in sharing objectionable or unlawful content on digital platforms.
It is suspected that the accused used digital platforms to circulate content that could disrupt public order. The case highlights the growing challenge of monitoring online spaces for unlawful activities and ensuring responsible digital engagement. A detailed investigation is underway.
