New Delhi: The minimum temperature dipped to 6.4 degrees Celsius in the national capital on Sunday. This is the lowest temperature of the season so far, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The minimum temperature recorded was a couple of notches below the average. The city recorded 8.3 degrees Celsius, one notch below the average, on Saturday.
The Capital recorded 95 per cent relative humidity at 8.30 am and the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 24 degrees Celsius, the IMD said.
However, the weather department has predicted a partly cloudy sky on Monday.
The air quality index (AQI) in the city was recorded at 255, which is considered poor. Neighbouring Faridabad (228), Ghaziabad (274), Gurgaon (200) and Noida (213) also saw poor air quality.
