Bhubaneswar: The total dengue cases in Bhubaneswar crossed 2000 mark on Saturday when 75 more persons were identified with the disease.
With the day’s figure, the dengue tally in the city has gone up to 2.032, while 1,709 patients have recovered from the disease since January 1, according to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
The BMC stated that it has covered 1,31,471 population and visited 31,910 households to collect dengue related data in the city.
Continuing its cleanliness drive and promotion of awareness regarding the disease, the BMC officials have destroyed 81,425 breeding sources and larva found in 83,945 sources.
