Dense Fog Alert For 19 Districts Of Odisha In Next 3 Days, Rain To Continue Till Jan 25

Bhubaneswar: Odisha will continue to experience dense fog and rain for the next few days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Friday.

Yellow warning of dense fog has been issued for several districts of the state for the next three days. Light rain will continue till January 25, according to the midday bulletin.

Till 8.30 am on Jan 20

Yellow warning: Dense fog may occur at one or two places in Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Khurda, Ganjam, Kalahandi, Balangir, Sonepur, Boudh, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Angul.

Shallow to moderate fog is also likely at a few places in Sundargarh, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Cuttack and at one or two places in remaining districts of the state.

Light rain/ thundershower is likely to occur at one or two places in Bargarh, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Kandhamal, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Angul, Kendrapada, Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur, Balasore, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Jharsuguda and Boudh.

Yellow warning: Dense fog may occur at one or two places in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Koraput, Sonepur, Boudh, Angul, Dhenkanal.

Shallow to moderate fog is also likely at a few places in South Coastal Odisha, Kandhamal, Sonepur, Angul and at one or two places in remaining districts of Odisha.

Light rain/ thundershower likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapada.

From 8.30 am on Jan 21 till 8.30 am on Jan 20

Yellow warning: Dense fog may occur at one or two places in Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Khurda, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Puri, Ganjam, Jajpur, Kalahandi, Sonepur, Boudh, Dhenkanal, and Angul.

Shallow to moderate fog is also likely at a few places in Khurda, Cuttack, Nayagarh, Puri, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Bolangir, Sonepur, Angul, Dhenkanal and at one or two places in remaining districts of Odisha.

Light rain/ thundershower likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak.

Light rain/thundershower will continue for the next 4 days. There will be no large change in the night temperature during next4-5 days, it added.
