Bhubaneswar: Thick blanket of fog engulfed several parts of Odisha, including Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, in the early hours of Saturday.
The visibility dropped to less than 20 to 30 metres on the outskirts of the twin cities.
Notably, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) had issued a yellow warning for dense fog at one or two places in Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Keonjhar, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Khurda, Nayagarh and Kandhamal till 8.30 am. Dense fog is also likely at one or two places in Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Khurda, Cuttack, Angul and Dhenkanal during the subsequent 24 hours.
