Bhubaneswar: Dense fog engulfed Bhubaneswar and several other places in the state on Monday morning, reducing visibility and affecting traffic movement.
According to the Met department, visibility was reduced to 200 metres in Bhubaneswar, Bhawanipatna and Malkangiri; and 100 metres in Balangir. Visibility was 600 metres in Puri and 800 metres in Paradip.
According to the regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD), Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur, Sundergarh, Deogarh, Bargarh, Dhenkanal and Jharsuguda districts have been receiving light to moderate rainfall.
