Bhubaneswar: Odisha will continue to experience dense fog for another two days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Monday.
The weather agency has issued yellow warning of dense fog for one or two places in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda, Puri, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Gajapati, Nayagarh, Koraput, Kandhamal, and Rayagada districts till 8.30 am on Tuesday. Shallow to moderate fog is also likely at a few places in coastal districts of the state and at one or two places in South Interior Odisha.
Dense fog is also likely at one or two places in Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Koraput, Rayagada, and Kalahandi during the subsequent 24 hours. Shallow to moderate fog may also occur at a few places in the districts of South Coastal Odisha and at one or two places in North Coastal and South Interior Odisha.
Dry weather will prevail across the state till February 9.
The IMD has forecast light rain at a few places for next two days. Light rain/thundershower may occur at one or two places in Bargarh, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, and Nuapada on February 10. Light rain/thundershower is also likely at one or two places in Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sonepur, Balangir, Nuapada, and Angul on February 11.
There will no large change in the night temperature during next 4-5 days, it added.
