Puri: A devotee reportedly died inside Jagannath Temple in Odisha’s Puri town on Saturday.
According to sources, Manoharlal Raikuar, a native of Cuttack, fell unconscious during bedha parikrama (taking a round around the four sides of the main temple) after the darshan of the Lords.
On being informed, the Jagannath Temple Police (JTP) rushed him to the district headquarters hospital where the doctors pronounced him brought dead.
The doctors informed the media that the cause of the death of the deceased will be known after the postmortem.
