Puri: With Durga Puja drawing to a close, servitors of Jagannath Temple here on Wednesday adorned the sibling deities in Radha Damodar Besha.
This Besha is observed from Aswina Sukla Ekadasi tithi (the 11th day of the bright fortnight in Aswina) to Kartika Sukla Dasami tithi (the 10th day of the bright fortnight in Kartika).
During this period, the Lords are offered Bala Bhoga.
while the Lords donned Suna Besha on Vijaya Dashami on Tuesday, a Deva Sabha will be held in front the temple on Wednesday afternoon where the medhas of the Goddess Durga will assemble. Later, the medhas of the Goddess will be taken in a procession to the Devi Ghat for immersion after the servitors light up the Mahadeep in the temple.
Adequate security arrangements have been made for the smooth conduct of the immersion ceremony.
