Bhubaneswar: Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal on Monday appointed senior IPS officer Satyajit Mohanty as Chairman of Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC).
Mohanty is currently the Director General, Fire Services, Commandant General, Home Guards & Director, Civil Defence.
An order issued by the GA department stated that Mohanty would remain OPSC Chairman till he attains the age of 62. appointed Mohanty to his new post.
The conditions of service of Mohanty, as Chairman, OPSC shall be regulated in accordance with the provisions of the Odisha Public Service Commission (Conditions of Service) Regulations, 1952 as amended from time to time, the order further stated.
