Jharsuguda: Fight services from Veer Surendra Sai (VSS) Airport in Odisha’s Jharsuguda to Delhi will remain suspended from Sunday as per the Director General of Civil Aviation’s (DGCA) summer schedule for domestic flights released recently.
The decision has been taken due to non-availability of slots at the Delhi airport. However, flights to Bhubaneswar, Kolkata and Bengaluru will continue, Times of India reported.
According to sources, the airline that operates flights from VSS airport to Delhi will suspend operations while flights to other areas will continue.
The decision is likely to impact industrialists, politicians and also tourists from Odisha who take the flight to reach their destinations in north India via Delhi.
