Jharsuguda: The first-of-its-kind police petrol pump was opened on NH-49 near Odisha State Armed Police (OSAP) 2nd battalion in Jharsuguda district on Wednesday.
The petrol pump was inaugurated by DGP K B Singh in presence of senior police officers, including Sambalpur IG Sushant Nath and Jharsuguda SP Sanjeev Panda.
The petrol pump will benefit commuters on the national highway. It will be managed by the employees of OSAP, police sources said.
