Malkangiri/Koraput: Director General of Police (DGP) Rajendra Prasad Sharma visited Malkangiri and Koraput districts on Thursday and reviewed the Maoist situation there.
During his visit to cut-off Badapada in Malkangiri district, Sharma had a meeting with local police personnel and called for close coordination among all security agencies to maintain strict vigil on Maoist activities.
The top cop is scheduled to take stock of the sensational Kunduli gang-rape case at DIG (South Western Range) office in Koraput district.
He was accompanied by senior police officers.
