Jharsuguda: The owner of a dhaba is believed to have been stoned to
death in Jharsuguda late on Friday. There were deep injury marks on
his face.
The deceased, identified as Rajesh Sahu, was found dead at his food
outlet, Babudera dhaba. It is located near Kanaktora under Lakhanpur
tehsil in the district.
According to sources, Sahu’s wife who had gone to the dhaba to give
him breakfast had to break open the door as it was locked. She was
shocked to find her husband lying in a pool of blood.
A police team rushed to the place and seized the body for post
mortem. Locals told the police that Sahu slept in the dhaba at night
and someone might have entered the outlet and assaulted him.
