Bhubaneswar: The BJP’s Odisha unit has set a target to increase party members from 36 lakh to 45 lakh at a time the BJP is launching a mega membership drive across the country from Saturday to mark Jana Sangh founder Syama Prasad Mookerjee’s birth anniversary.
The membership drive in the state will continue till August 11. In Odisha, the membership drive will be launched by Dharmendra Pradhan and Aparajita Sarangi.
Talking to mediapersons here, Dharmendra said the drive will begin from the grassroots and emphasis will be given on the youth and women. The drive will be carried out both offline and online, he said.
