Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Odisha on September 17 when he will launch the Subhadra Yojana on the occasion of his birthday.
On Sunday, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan informed the press about PM Modi’s schedule and that he has given consent for launching the programme on September 17 which also happens to be his birthday.
“The BJP government in Odisha is fulfilling all poll promises and we are committed to empower women in the state. Subhadra Yojana is a major step in this direction,” Pradhan said.
On August 23, Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi announced the rules and regulations for implementation of the Subhadra Yojana.
