Bhubaneswar: Petroleum and Natural Gas and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday meet the winners of India’s largest skill competition from Odisha.
Notably, the team from the state secured second position and received a medal in the competition.
He wished them a better future. Thee winners would now undergo best-in-class industry training for the WorldSkills International Competition in Kazan, Russia in August, 2019.
Dharmendra also announced that the participants would be provided international-level training and all other necessities.
“The young men and women from Odisha, after passing the state and regional level competitions took part in the prestigious national skill championship. They have showcased their dedication and hard work in the competition. Their victory has proved that they are highly ambitious,” he said.
“They have brought glory to Odisha by winning the India’s largest skill competition at the national level. These young people are the ‘Dharmapada’ of present time,” he added.
Dharmendra also felicitated them with Nabakalebara commemorative coins.
