Bhubaneswar: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday interacted with students of different educational institutions from Kerala visiting Odisha during the third phase of Yuva Sangam, conducted under the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ initiative.

The students visited Bhubaneswar to participate in the event, where they shared their experiences with the Union Minister.

Speaking at a seminar organised on this occasion, Dharmendra highlighted that ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ is a vision championed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The objective of the programme is to expose students from different educational backgrounds to various states, allowing them to explore tourist destinations and gain insights into the social relations, culture, traditions, and food habits prevalent in those regions.

Under the leadership of IIM Sambalpur, 42 students from various educational institutes in Kerala were on a visit to Odisha to participate in Yuva Sangam. The students met Governor Raghubar Das and other dignitaries, contributing to a rich cultural exchange. Similarly, students from Odisha, under the guidance of NIT Calicut, are reciprocating the experience by visiting Kerala.

The Minister emphasised that this initiative, aligned with the Prime Minister’s vision, is a unique endeavor showcasing the unity within the diversity of the country through the power of youth.
He underscored how Yuva Sangam is playing a crucial role in strengthening the concept of a great India as envisioned by the Prime Minister.

The Union Minister further noted that the Yuva Sangam is not only a platform for cultural exchange but is also instrumental in realising the vision for a united and diverse India.

Minister of State for External Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs, V Muralidharan, was also present at the seminar, affirming the government’s commitment to fostering such initiatives that promote national integration and cultural understanding among the youth.
