Bhubaneswar: Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday questioned the silence of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik over the controversy pertaining to missing Ratna Bhandar keys.
Slamming the state government for not acting even after coming to know that the keys were missing since last two months, the Union Minister said the Chief Minister, who in case of trivial issues reaches out to people saying that law will take its own course, has not given any statement on the missing keys.
“Security of JagannathTemple and Ratna Bhandar is linked with the fate of crores of Odias. This has hurt the sentiments of a large number of people of the state,” Dharmendra added.
Earlier in the day, the state government issued a notification regarding the Terms of Reference (ToR) of the Commission of Inquiry for probing the missing keys of Ratna Bhandar.
