Bhubaneswar: MS Dhoni Cricket Academy (MSDCA) launched its Cricket Coaching Clinic at the CV Raman Ground in Bhubaneswar on Monday. It will be here for seven days.
As many as 80 participants from different districts of Odisha have participated in the camp. CV Raman group chairman Sanjeev Rout, Hi-Tech Group Institute sports director Dr Prem Ranjan Ojha, Aarka sports manager Sekhar Chauhan and physical training instructor Dr Neha Arora were present at the inaugural session.
During the Cricket Coaching Clinic in Bhubaneswar, children will undergo specialised training under the guidance of accredited coaches from BCCI and NCA. The coaches have been selected by a panel of coaches including Satrajit Lahiri and Mandar Dalivi, who are BCCI and NCA level three. They are also chief coaches with the MS Dhoni Cricket Academy.
The Coaching Clinic programme is a way to sample modern cricket coaching and philosophy of MSDCA’s regular coaching programme. The MSDCA Cricket Coaching Programme promotes the importance of developing quality cricketers as well as people who are leaders; have strong team work capabilities; strive for excellence and display sportsmanship and fair play.
The MSDCA has been launching India’s first Cricket Coaching Clinic in over 20 different cities in India. The academy is an institute of Aarka Sports, whose central idea is one of MS Dhoni and Mihir Diwakar, to “give back”.
The process is going to completely transform the standard of coaching and development of cricket in India and abroad. Equipped with all modern technology, high class coaching facilities and certified coaches, MSDCA is spreading its centres to every corner of India and abroad.
This MSD Cricket clinic will continue till June 9.
